Katia Losito

Chi sono

Hello, my name is Katia Losito and I was born and live in Bari, a sunny seaside city in southern Italy. I am a singer, Expert in Mix Vocal Technique, Vocal Coach, Teacher Trainer, Public Speaking Instructor, and Music Reviewer. My clients include singers and vocal students of all levels, both in Italy and abroad, worldwide. I train public speakers to use their voice effectively and create the right content for clear and impactful public speeches. I conduct individual lessons and masterclasses aimed at singing teachers and anyone who uses their voice professionally or simply wants to learn to sing, providing support for musical projects in recording studios.

I have been studying voice for about 20 years, using various techniques and methods, primarily between the United States and Europe. Among these, I have delved into Speech Level Singing and participated in various courses of the Estill Voice Craft method. My teaching approach is based on scientific, pedagogical, and historical studies, taking into account the vocal and psychological structure of each singer, as well as their artistic and performance goals. Over the years, I have developed a passion for the study of Belcanto technique and pedagogy. My teaching is based on the principles of this glorious Italian School.

I have studied and continue to study with my teacher and mentor, Greg Enriquez, internationally recognized as one of the best trainers of singers and singing teachers in the world, to whom I owe deep gratitude for his teaching. I obtained the qualification of Certified Instructor from the Institute for Vocal Advancement, where I also served as the Area Representative for Italy - Malta. In 2019, I joined the staff as a music reviewer for the web-magazine Faremusic.it, founded by Alberto Salerno and Mara Maionchi.

I achieved the certification of Advanced Vocal Coach from Modern Vocal Training and serve as the Regional Mentor for Italy.

I am part of the educational team for international singing teachers at MVT, conducting vocal pedagogy classes for advanced vocal coaches. I am the training director for certified Modern Vocal Training teachers in Italy.

I also obtained the Vocal Health First Aider certification from Vocal Health Education in London with NCFE Accreditation.

I have taught at the European Vocal Camp, the world's largest camp where over 100 singers and students from more than 30 countries come together for workshops and individual lessons. Passionate about vocal technique and psychology, I presented my latest research at the World Expo Voice Teachers, an international conference that brings together various methodologies and educational approaches on vocal technique from around the world.

My approach has been proven effective through numerous achievements with voices of all genres and styles. Teaching, for me, is a mission—an commitment to help everyone discover their potential as singers and teachers.
